"Sea Treasure" — Shell and Porcelain Mosaic Wall Rosette

Sea Treasure is a hand-laid wall mosaic in a radiating circular composition, built from hundreds of small elements: shells, fragments of porcelain, pebbles, coral, glass, mosaic tesserae and gilded accents. Everything is placed by hand, piece by piece, following a rhythm that spreads from the centre outwards — the closer to the edge, the longer and sharper the forms become, until the rosette breaks into rays and loses its regular outline altogether. Small surprises are hidden at its heart: a brass key, pearlescent orbs, iridescent shards — details you only discover up close.

The palette stays within one family of tones — white, ivory, sand, soft pink and beige — with gold as the single strong accent, flashing in points across the whole structure and coming alive under raking light. The effect is rich yet calm: the piece looks like a fossilised whirlpool, or a coral reef arrested on the wall. It sits beautifully against pale, raw plaster, in a living room, bedroom, hallway, spa or any coastal or wabi-sabi interior.
