Layers is a handmade wall relief built from dyed paper pulp, laid out in five concentric squares — from a cool grey-blue core through green and yellow to warm orange and red at the outer edge. Each layer is applied separately while the pulp is still wet, worked with fingers and a spatula, then slowly dried, so the surface keeps a dense, fluffy, almost mossy texture with visible strands of fibre. The piece is set in a simple shadow-box frame of pale untreated wood, which lifts the object away from its backing and lets it cast a soft shadow of its own. Signed by the artist in the lower right corner.

The composition draws on the classic geometry of the square but strips away its coldness — the colours bleed into one another at the edges, and the uneven contours keep the whole thing warm and clearly hand-made rather than technical. The texture shifts with the light: flat and pastel in the morning, full of depth and shadow in the evening. It suits a child's room, a bright living room, a studio or an educational space. Entirely hand-crafted — the dye tones, the density of the pulp and the arrangement of the fibres can never be repeated, so every piece remains one of a kind.
